In 2006 members of the ukfm were offered a liftime experiance to go to the florida twirl camp.

21 in total travelled across the pond to join 150 USA twirlers. the trainers were amazing to watch and even more amazing to learn some new tricks.

In 2006 sam bathhurst from blue vision twirling team was awarded with th emost spirited twirler at camp. sharna was awarded best intermediate/advamced twirler and the whole of the UKFM  avchieved a huge trophy for being best campers!

IN 2008 the ukfm were offered another place at the twirl camp, this time being bigger than ever, 18 twirlers from different teams of the ukfm joined over 200 usa twirlers.

sharna who was sponsored by hemel town football club, kiera and phoebe  who were sponsered by dene dental surgery in northwood. All joined them to represent hemel hempstead and saturn supremes.

during th evening the usa girls hold a miss ugly competion and modelling.....both no to be taken too seriously....as paul was the only ukfm male to join us we had to enter him as miss ugly! black bags, ribbons, make up and even nail varinish,  oh and not forgetting the cold pizza stucj to him from the night before and with 20 girls dressing him up he didnt have alot of choice to enter, the transformation took place!!! he strutted his stuff and won 1st place!!!

leanne and kelsey entered the modelling section....kelsey won 3rd in her age group leanne winning first.

after counting 50 or more bruises between us all, we knew we had one last day of training, so up again at 6, breakfast at 7 warm up by 8.30! and if you can stretch your legs both out to your nose that will defo warm you up!

again miss barbara who founded th egolden triangle camp 48 years ago gave a presentation of best campers.

kiera phoebe and sharna alongside kelsey won star campers. and cerys and tina from ipswich won overall twirlers.

cheryl wimberly who was a former feature twirler at florida stat university and coaches state, national and world champions.

sean wimberly a feature twirler at florida stat university. currently holds 8 national nbta titles and 2 world titles

lynann patrick- hudson holds numerous world 2 and 3 baton titles. she was college miss majorettes of florida for 5 consecutive years. she is now and instructor at UCF!

karrissa wimberly is 2 times senior nbta grand national twirling champion and has been open solo champion since th eage of 7. she has placed 1 st runner up in majorette of america and is currently miss college majorette of america. she won th econgressional cup 2004, 2005, 2006 allan kramer twirl off, twirl mania gold twirl off.
